Job description
We are looking to hire a nursery assistant to join our enthusiastic, welcoming and friendly team.
The successful candidate will be confident in their abilities with working with children, friendly and enthusiastic. They will have a high standard of communication skills to enable them to communicate with children's families and other practitioners. Candidates will be required to carry out children's observations, effective tracking of children’s development and assessments and be able to plan for children’s interest and development across all areas of the EYFS.
job roles and responsibilities include:
- Providing effective care and education for the children
- Ensure that the children you are responsible for are engaged in planned activities in line with the groups curriculum policy at all times.
- Ensuring observation of key children are completed and their personal record of achievement is completed, and the children are making good progress within their learning and development.
- Ensure that effective communication takes place with parents with regards to their child's development.
- Ensure that all standards laid out by OFSTED are fully understood and where appropriate implemented.
- Ensure all policies and procedures as laid out by the company are fully understood and implemented.
- Working alongside the Room Leader to have an input with the planning of activities to ensure all seven areas of the EYFS are implemented.
- Ensure that each individual child's needs are met, and every child is given the opportunity to feel safe, secure and valued.
Successful applicants are required to provide 2 references and a DBS which will be paid for by the company.

We are offering a job post of 37. 5 hours however some over time may be required. Working hours will be between 7:30 and 6:00 Monday to Friday.
