Job description
Reports to: Lead for UTC and EA Hours: Full or Part Time Hours Negotiable Location: Provide senior support to services which are delivered to Royal Victoria Hospital Folkestone, Buckland Hospital Dover and Victoria Hospital Deal. Job Summary: - To act as an autonomous practitioner working independently and in conjunction with other health care professionals to assess, diagnose and treat the conditions of patients from birth upwards attending Enhanced Access Services and Urgent Treatment Centres initiating direct referrals as appropriate. Provide expert professional advice to patients, carers and ensure the maintenance of clinical excellence. Independent Prescriber To develop new and innovative concepts, models, methods, and practices to deliver new and improved primary care services to meet the needs of the local population.
To provide education and training to other staff and students. To participate in Enhanced Access and Urgent Treatment Centre Services which will include weekends and Bank Holiday working. To contribute to strategies surrounding performance and improvement. Deputise for UTC and EA Lead as required.
