Job description
NHS Scotland is committed to encouraging equality and diversity among our workforce and eliminating unlawful discrimination. The aim is for our workforce to be truly representative and for each employee to feel respected and able to give their best. To this end, NHS Scotland welcomes applications from all sections of society.
An opportunity has arisen for an administrator to join the Managed Service Network for Children and Young People with Cancer (MSN CYPC). The MSN was established in 2011 to ensure a single sustainable model of service delivery for children, teenagers and young people with cancer. The network provides support to all relevant clinicians operating across Scotland to work collectively in accordance with national guidelines and standards. This is an opportunity to become a part of that responsive and dynamic network.
The Network Support Officer provides an important administrative function to the MSN, arranging meetings, events and supporting projects as well as delivering key office functions such as financial administration. This post holder also provides some PA support and diary management for the MSN Leadership team.
We are looking to appoint a highly organised person who pays close attention to detail. You will be joining a small supportive team, but you should have the confidence to work without direct supervision. This post works mostly within the core hours of 9.00 am to 17.00 pm, however flexibility is required and the hours are 37.5 per week.
For an informal discussion about this post, please contact Marion O’Neill, National Network Manager, on telephone 07958 138985 or by email [email protected]
Short-listed applicants will be contacted by email. Please check your emails regularly, including your junk/spam folder.
