NOC Engineer – Job Opportunity
Role: NOC Engineer
Salary: £25,000 –£32,000
Location: Telford
Our client, a well-established telecommunications provider based in Telford, are looking for a NOC Engineer to join their team.
As a NOC Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing ongoing network & software support, troubleshooting, and exceptional customer service to clients.
NOC Engineer Skills / Background –
- Experience providing remote user support
- ADSL, VDSL, FTTC, FTTP, and Ethernet.
- DHCP, DNS, VPN, NAT, and VoIP knowledge
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Excellent communication skills and effective task prioritisation
- Proficiency in configuring, installing, and troubleshooting routers and wireless access points.
- Experience or knowledge of Wi-Fi protocols.
- Experience with Team Viewer and Remote Desktop Services.
- Telecommunications PBX knowledge
NOC Engineer Role Responsibilities –
- Provide ongoing support to customers, troubleshoot problems, and offer guidance.
- Successfully install and configure cloud telephony systems
- Effectively upgrade or add additional services to existing customers.
- Review and resolve end-user technology issues, including standard and non-standard hardware and software problems.
- Provide training on hardware and software to end-users.
- Address customer issues related to broadband, routers, access points, and CRM integration.
- Work within defined timescales
- Program various software and hardware components as required.
