Job Title: National Account Manager - Rug Business
Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced National Account Manager to join our rug business. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key national accounts such as B&Q, Homebase, and Dunelm. The ideal candidate should have experience in selling rugs, interior furnishings or similar products. You will be responsible for driving sales and maintaining strong relationships with our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow key national accounts such as B&Q, Homebase, and Dunelm.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Identify new business opportunities and potential customers.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to develop strategies to increase market share.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, logistics, and product development to ensure customer needs are met.
- Prepare sales forecasts and budgets.
- Attend trade shows and events to promote our products and services.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in national account management, preferably in the rug or interior furnishings industry.
- Experience managing key accounts such as B&Q, Homebase, and Dunelm is essential.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
