Job Description
U.S. Bank Global Fund Services (Fund Services) is seeking a motivated individual to join the Regulatory Support and Compliance Group and work closely with a team that interfaces with and onboards registered mutual fund, private investment company, and custody clients of Fund Services.
This role will involve assisting with drafting and negotiating an array of servicing agreements for hedge fund, mutual fund, exchange-traded fund and custody clients. The role also manages processes connected to contracting, including the termination workflow and operational contact processes. The role will require substantial interaction with clients and internal groups throughout Fund Services including Alternative Investment Client Service Managers, ’40 Act Relationship Managers and Regulatory Support staff, Business Development Officers, Custody personnel and Regulatory Support and Compliance Group members involved with client onboarding.
The candidate must be open to new challenges and desire professional growth given the rapidly changing regulatory environment facing Fund Services and its clients. The Regulatory Support and Compliance Group has broad responsibilities and interfaces with all U.S. and offshore Fund Services offices and their personnel. Consequently, willingness to become the resident expert on new initiatives and to assist in other matters impacting the Fund Services enterprise is valued. The Regulatory Support and Compliance team provides a supportive environment in which team members can work independently while benefiting from guidance of more experienced team members.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience
- One to two years of related work experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Undergraduate degree in business related field or extensive experience with contract drafting and negotiating;
- Paralegal certificate or comparable experience preferred though not required.
- Prefer a minimum of one-year experience in the mutual fund, private fund or fund services industry;
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with an ability to interact collaboratively across U.S. Bank;
- Ability to organize, track and stay on task with numerous contracts being negotiated simultaneously;
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks while having a team-oriented approach; and
- Excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, US Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401k contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $56,950.00 - $67,000.00 - $73,700.00
