Job description

A lovely and welcoming family of three based in Islington, N1 are looking for an nurturing, experienced, loving and positive, flexible full time, sole charge expert baby nanny (who has plenty of initiative!) to become part of their family. Driving isn’t necessary (Parking is not available).

The child will be 10 months old in September. Mum works from home once/twice a week - you’ll need to be happy with this set up.

Start date: Monday, 4th September 2023

Salary; Up to £49,500 gross annually (£19 gross hourly) depending on your qualifications and experience.

Days and Hours; 50 hours a week:

Monday to Friday, 8am until 6pm. The ideal nanny will be flexible to work the occasional evening when possible and have the hours reduced during the week (to be agreed mutually on an ad hoc basis).

The nanny would be required to help the child in the morning and ensure he’s had a good breakfast and morning nap. You will take the baby to toddler activities and groups, walks in the park and lots of age appropriate play, which will help with his educational and cognitive development. You’ll manage afternoon naps and meal times, play dates, evening meals, bath time and prepare him for bed. Someone who happy to support with preparing and cooking meals for the child will be important.

You’ll tidy up after the child and yourself and be happy to manage all nursery duties, inc food shops for him, the family have a cleaner so no deep cleaning will be expected.

The perfect candidate will have lots of energy and will have a happy disposition. You will be kind and genuinely care and enjoy looking after young children and will take pride in your work. You’ll need to have experience caring for children of this age. You’ll be easy going and happy to work alongside parents at times. You must be a non smoker and have a valid DBS certificate and a paediatric first aid certificate and excellent checkable references.

Salary: Up to £49,500.00 per year
