We are ideally looking for someone with a post-graduate qualification or recent experience in MRI who is ready to work within our busy departments including extended hours service..
You will be expected to develop your MRI skills in order to assist with the delivery of a high quality MRI service, whilst maintaining your professionalism.
We currently have four Philips MRI scanners across 2 hospital sites - with two in a new unit at CRH that opened this year
We provide both an out-patient and in-patient service including an extended hours, 7 day service, and a wide range of examinations are performed including cardiac, paediatric, MSK, head and body MRI scans.

You will be required to work both within the team and autonomously. You should have excellent communication skills and be committed to providing a high standard of care.
We understand that whether you’re just starting out or have plenty of experience, moving jobs can be both exciting and daunting, but you’ve made a great choice in considering joining Calderdale & Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust (CHFT). We are an exceptional place to work with remarkable teams of hard working and dedicated clinical and non-clinical staff all delivering high standards of patient care.
Operating on an ethos of ‘one culture of care’, where we look after each other with the same care and compassion that we show to our patients, colleague engagement, and creating an open, honest and inclusive organisation is high on our agenda
- Accept referrals from other clinicians and be responsible for the care of those patients as per agreed protocols.
- Undertake extended hours duties as necessary in order to attain competency within MRI.
- Able to deal with high pressure demands from service users, ensuring patient care is not compromised.
- Work as part of a team on all MRI scanners within the Trust, but also autonomously, once suitably trained
- Be able to prioritise and manage own workload on completion of the training period..
