Metal Polishing Vacancy
SCP Metal Finishing are a small friendly team based near Horsham West Sussex, Offering high quality professional metal polishing and bead blasting services for a wide range of clients and businesses.
We currently have a vacancy for a full time experienced metal polisher to join the team and help the expanding business.
The Role will include:
- polishing all types of metal to a very high standard
- Finishing metal components to drawing specifications / specific Ra values
- Glass bead blasting (cabinet)
- Using fixed polishing lathes / spindles as well as hand tools, power tools burnishers etc.
- Cleaning, degreasing finished work
- Mostly workshop based but with occasional site work
- Type of work includes engineering parts, car and motorcycle restoration, yacht parts, pharmaceutical parts, antiques and much more
The ideal candidate will have:
- at least 3 years in a similar role
- The ability to polish all metals to a high mirror finish
- A background in metalwork and a good understanding of different metals
- A keen eye for detail
- Ability to work safely & efficiently
In return SCP will offer:
- £15-£20 per hour based on experience
- Minimum 40 hours per week
- Flexible working pattern
- Overtime when available

Candidates will be expected to attend a working interview for at least 1 day to demonstrate skill level and safe practices
