Salary: £38,073 - £44,257 + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

What is the Role?
As the Data Quality Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering the data quality framework, processes and operating model that supports the effective management of business data assets. You will ensure we have trusted data that meets regulatory requirements, delivers operational efficiency and enables innovative analytics to power business growth and profitability. Some key responsibilities of the role include:
- Delivering centralised Data Quality services aligned to the SSE Group framework and best practices.
- Creation and development of Data Quality reporting and supporting documentation.
- Responsible for the data issue and resolution process.
- Maintain high data quality by identifying and correcting errors such as duplicates, miss-categorisations, or missing data.
- Collaborate with other data professionals and non-technical stakeholders, and train colleagues on data quality best practices, protocols, and tools.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- Previous experience and excellent knowledge of Data Management and Data Quality.
- Good Stakeholder management skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks, adjusting as priorities change.
- Experience with database management and data analysis tools, including a solid understanding of data management principles and practices.
- Knowledge of querying languages such as SQL with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills in explaining complex data concepts to non-technical team members.
