Job description
The communications team at Somerset Wildlife Trust has evolved greatly over the last two years, with the pandemic providing opportunities to significantly expand our use of creative digital and virtual communications tools and techniques.
We are on the lookout for a brilliant and energetic communicator to join our team. We like go-getters, starter-finishers, movers, shakers and creative thinkers and doers, who thrive on challenge, love finding smart solutions to address challenges, can get stuck into the nuts and bolts of the digital world, and aren’t phased by a fast-paced environment where no day is the same.
This is a full time position with hybrid working; Wednesdays and Thursdays in the office for team collaboration and the rest of the week flexible.
The full person specification and job description can be found in the link at the bottom of the page. For further information about the role please contact Kirby Everett, Head of Marketing Communications: [email protected]
Benefits of working with us:
- 7% employer pension contribution.
- 25 days leave plus Bank Holidays & 3 additional discretionary days (pro rata).
- Flexible working including Time Off in Lieu & hybrid working options.
- Dedicated 24-hour Employee Assistance Programme for you and your household.
- Part of a national team of Wildlife Trusts Staff.
- Discounts in high street retailers.
- Joining a supportive team with Mental Health awareness and champions.
- Working across some of the most beautiful locations in the county.
The closing date is midnight on 26th July 2023 and interviews will take place on the 2nd and 3rd August.
