Position: Domestic Cleaner and Housekeeper
Job Description:
We're looking for an experienced domestic cleaner in Angmering to carry out a range of house cleaning duties including cleaning various domestic homes and assisting with deep cleans at the businesses on site. The role will be responsible for domestic homes, Air B&B turn arounds including full house cleans and itinerary checks at our holiday let property. You will need to be available for up to 30 Hours of work Monday - Friday with some weekends .
This role will be suitable for experienced domestic cleaners & housekeepers who understand the importance of hotel standard cleaning for a Holiday Let business and domestic home.
We are a multi-activity site with an Activity Centre, Golf Centre and Holiday Let Properties and expect a high level of cleaning to be done so we need the chosen person to be reliable, responsive and ready and willing to work.
Prior domestic cleaning experience preferred. References required.
We're looking for a detailed person that will run full changeovers for the property including:
- Fully clean the house to a very high standard ready for our next guests
- Liaise with the Linen and Towels company.
- Follow the check list of requirements and double check against the inventory.
- Restock/replenish all consumables including toilet tissue, shower gel and hand soaps.
- Ensure the kitchen is fully presentable and clean, emptying the fridges, bins etc.
- Ensure Tea, coffees and milk is always topped up and ready for the guests.
- Report any breakages or damage at the time of changeover to ensure deposits are managed.
- Test that the TV and internet works – locate remote controllers.
- Assist in the deep cleaning of the Activity Centre – Out of Bounds.
- Assist in the deep cleaning, including driving range cleaning of Rustington Golf Centre.
Must Haves:
- Have the highest of standards towards cleaning and presentation. Love to clean.
- Work with flexibility and enthusiasm for the profession.
- Be a team player.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs or more, bend, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to work with cleaning products in a clean, safe manner; must be able to follow cleaning instructions.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a good attendance record. (we are looking for someone who is dependable!)
The role is Monday – Friday however there will be some weekend work required in the event of a weekend change over or holiday cover.
Up to 30 Hours per week.
