Leidos Europe Ltd is seeking a UK-based Medical Compliance Coordinator who is a motivated self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment. They will be a dedicated resource to the Logistics Division working on the Ministry of Defence Logistics, Commodities and Services Transformation (LCST) Programme.


Reporting to the Leidos Europe Responsible Person (RP), the role is responsible for supporting functional leads in for safeguarding product users against potential hazards arising from poor procurement, distribution and manufacturing practices.

You will be a key member of the compliance team, and have a real tangible as well as strategic input within a growing business. You will be accountable for driving the culture of quality and compliance to the next level as the programme continues to expand.


The role will be hybrid with some travel required.


Duties & Responsibilities:


The Medical Compliance Coordinator is responsible coordination of medical assurance across all aspects of the supply chain; Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). The duties include:

  • Supporting the RP and Medical Supplier Quality Manager to ensure that the provisions of the licences are observed and maintained; including the monitoring and review of new and emerging legislation.

  • Monitor medical compliance requirements for the programme and communicate these to stakeholders at pace.

  • Support compliance changes and associated change impact assessments.

  • To produce reports and take minutes of meetings when required in accordance with the needs of the function, audit compliance and tracking.

  • To work closely with teams and functions to support incidents and take a proactive approach to providing effective solutions.

  • Support administration of a self-inspection programme, ensuring that adequate records are maintained


Skill Required:

  • Experience of working within a compliance administration role in a medical environment

  • Good communication skills

  • UK citizenship

  • Willingness to achieve SC clearance

  • Willing to travel


Desirable Skills Required:

  • Working knowledge of ISO 13485

  • Willingness to undertake GDP and quality assurance training as part of role development

  • Experience working with the following tools: SharePoint, MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Jira

  • Active SC security clearance
