Roborough Surgery is part of Drake Medical Alliance PCN and are a training practice for both
GP Registrars, Medical and Nursing students. The surgery provides a variety of services and high quality care to our registered patients.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant to come and work with our friendly, supportive, and excellent Nursing Team. The successful applicant will be expected to carry out a range of HCA skills including wound management, Phlebotomy, injections, BP/INR recording, ear syringing and some long-term condition reviews. Support will be provided throughout, and appropriate training will be given as required until competent to undertake the role. We provide ongoing support, training, and clinical supervision on a regular basis.
Experience as an HCA or within the health and care setting would be beneficial but is not essential.
This is a part-time role at 24 hours per week; however, you will be expected to work some additional hours to cover our Enhanced Access clinics during evenings and weekends, but these are worked on a rota basis and shared within the Nursing Team.
