Full Time Live-Out Nanny in Stamford/Armonk

Schedule: Monday - Friday. 40 hours guaranteed.

8:30am - 5:30pm 3 days of the week (nanny can choose the days)
8:30am - 2:00pm 1 day of the week (nanny can choose the day)
8:30am - 4:00pm on Fridays

Pay: $30 per hour paid through cash. Benefits include two weeks paid vacation, personal/sick days, federal holidays paid and off. Nanny vehicle provided for on-duty hours and no travel is required. Generous overnight rate if nanny agrees to the days.

Start Date: July 10th but flexible. Long term position.

Children: One toddler, 2.5yo. Newborn baby arriving this Summer. Toddler is active and likes to be busy and have fun!

The family are looking for a nanny who is excited about working with babies. She’s warm, loving, nurturing, and physically active. The toddler loves to play, play, play so the right nanny for this position enjoys being active, pretend play, running around the park, etc.

The general day-to-day the nanny will have lots of freedom to go out and do activities, make play dates, parks, etc! You can get out all you want. Starting this Summer, the toddler will be in camps 3 days a week and the nanny will be with the newborn. In the fall, there will be a similar schedule when the toddler will be in daycare. The best nanny for the position can be good with newborns and know infant milestones as well as keep up with the activity of a toddler and toddler milestones.

Great work/life balance schedule with availability to have personal appointments in the afternoons. The parents are flexible on all days except for Fridays (nanny can choose the days for the above schedule). The nanny will need to work full days about 10 times per year with advance notice.

Responsibilities:

• Provide all aspects of child-related duties and supervision.
• Emotional/behavioral support and assisting in reaching milestones.
• Bathing/dressing children and managing children’s laundry.
• Preparing healthy and nutritious meals/snacks daily for the children.
• Toy clean up, light organization, bottle cleaning, cleaning up after meals, seasonal clothing rotation.
• Transporting the children to activities.
• Keep a tidy home after a day of play.

Requirements:

• Must love children and have a warm, friendly, outgoing, compassionate demeanor.
• Knowledgable about newborn, infant and toddler milestones.
• Reliable.
• Flexibility to work afternoons if needed.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving/criminal records.
• Minimum 3 years professional childcare experience.
• Covid19 vaccination, annual flu shot.

There are 2 cats in the home temporarily.
