Gladstone Media is a boutique strategic marketing, advertising & multimedia production agency. We’re seeking a Social Media Coordinator to join our fast-paced studio in Liberty Village.
Social Media Coordinator
The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for delivering a wide range of digital marketing initiatives within a multidisciplinary boutique environment. Working in collaboration with external clients as well as internal Accounts, Content and Creative teams, the Social Media Coordinator will conceptualize, strategize and execute across a diverse range of organic and paid social media campaigns for various industry sectors. The Social Media Coordinator will also be required to manage the projects they oversee by conducting team check-ins with designers and copywriters to ensure that timelines are adhered to and tasks are completed in time for launch. We’re seeking a team player who is passionate about the creative industry and consistently raises the bar on both craft and expectations.
*ABOUT YOU
- You have a post-secondary degree or certificate in Social Media Marketing, or a related field.
- Your portfolio is robust and well-rounded and demonstrates a range of diversity.
- You have a minimum of 1+ year of experience within an advertising agency or related environment.
- In addition to strong time management skills, you possess the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, have excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to solve problems, delegate effectively, and manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.
- You can develop a social media/digital strategy from ideation to completion
- You have the ability to develop and manage paid media campaigns for Facebook, Instagram and Google
- You possess the ability to present your ideas
- You keep atop of current trends and emerging technologies to identify ways to apply them into your work.
- You have strong writing, proofreading and editing skills
- You can grow a following for both external and internal social channels
- You enjoy engaging and interacting with different audiences with the goal of building a connection with followers
- You continuously bring fresh new ideas to the team for improving various initiatives
- You can create monthly analytics reports outlining performance in an easily digestible format
- You have a firm understanding of using the following platforms Later, UNUM, Adobe CC, Hootsuite etc.
- You have general design knowledge and the ability to carry out basic design layouts (Adobe CC, Canva, etc.)
- HTML experience is a plus
- Mailchimp / email campaign know-how is a bonus
- Ideally, you have previous experience working in the Real Estate / Architectural marketing sectors.
- You are able to commute to our office in Liberty Village
