Mechanical Design Engineer - Oxford - £40-45k
My client is an innovative technology company revolutionizing electromechanical products with new ideas in; Oil and Gas, energy, and water industries.They provide specialist services with a strong focus on innovation, improving efficiency, reliability, and sustainability. They are looking for a mechanical design engineer with 2 years of experience to help develop and grow their existing product range.
Main Duties:
+ Design and develop new products
+ Experience with 3D CAD design using Solidworks, PDM and Solidworks Simulation.
+ Familiarity with FEA and stress analysis
+ Prototype and test designs
+ Produce full product specifications, assembly/ product documentation and design reports.
Skills and Experience Required:
+2 years of industry experience
+Degree in Relevant engineering discipline or a apprenticeship trained.
+ Experienced in full product lifecycle
+ Produce manufacturing drawings to BS8888 / GD&T
+ Knowledge of Casting/Forging, CNC machining processes
+ Hydraulic experience advantageous but not required
The salary will be between £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience.
