Retail Ecommerce
This varied role will be to support the day-to-day operations by managing and developing the retail business. Your role will be to; manage and create product listings, on-site merchandising and promotions, managing in-bound sales calls, e- mails, instant chat and customer questions as well as to contribute to social media and website updates. Contact customers, couriers and suppliers by telephone / email to secure orders and provide relevant support and guidance (online and offline). As with all retail roles, this is a fast paced dynamic environment, so it is important to be organised and motivated with a focus on growing the business.
Duties will also include:-
- You will assist in order processing and completing any the necessary paperwork and updating spreadsheets on behalf of the management
- You will also assist in all aspects of administration within the business to improve efficiency, including the updating and management of processes, procedures and systems
- Maintaining the administration of the ecommerce website and associated office processes and procedures
- Assisting with sales documentation i.e. processing orders, raising sales invoices and purchase orders.
- To organise incoming post and manage outgoing post
- Maintaining the administration of the ecommerce website and associated office processes and procedures
- Data entry and database record management in both CRM and email database
- Work closely with the head of the department, providing valuable research information
- Product photo merchandising to improve sales and creating new product posts
- Contributing towards social media including blog posts, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook
- Generally supporting the smooth running of the office environment
