Admin for IT project

On behalf of Nationwide Building Society, AMS are seeking for an Administrator to join our IT project Community Team for a 6-month Temporary contract with the possibility of extension. This role can be completed working hybrid attendance in office when requested in Swindon however you are more than welcome to attend our Nationwide Building Society Offices.

We're offering an hourly rate of £10.90 to £18,00 (depends on experience) with a working schedule between 9am-5pm Monday to Friday. This role is a full-time/ opportunity for 4 days also

Target Start Date: Immediate Start

About the role:

This role sits within the IT project Team, which is responsible for a variety of administration tasks including working alongside a current project of implementing and contributing to process improvement of current IT Infrastructure. In addition to learning about Nationwide’s Shared Technology Platforms and approach, there is an opportunity in this role to gain a wider understanding of all activity completed by the team.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll work closely with internal and external stakeholders where we provide excellent communication skills in handling enquiries and requests. We work in a team of analysts and engineers therefore you will complete a variety of administration tasks which may include however not limited to:

  • Communicating with internal and external Stakeholders including stakeholder management
  • Working collaboratively within the team
  • Resolving issues and queries
  • Having a pro-active approach to process improvement and procedure
  • Data entry and Data accuracy
  • Eager to learn and self-motivated
  • Having a pro-active approach and the ability to use your own initiative

Whilst there are established processes in place we are continually looking to evolve and find new ways to support our members so there is an opportunity to develop this role and improve processes

About you

If you’ve got an administration background, if you’re a confident communicator and looking to take on a new challenge, this could be just the job for you. You’ll also be comfortable using a computer or laptop and hold previous experience with use of Outlook, Excel, MS Office and Microsoft Teams.

  • Work well within a team and communicate regularly, attending team meetings regularly and bringing enthusiasm
