Responsibilities:BlueHalo is looking for a talented Mechanical Engineer with electronics packaging experience. The Engineer must understand the overall engineering process; to include design kick-off, production, and sustainment while interacting with the various disciplines involved in the production of an electronic product. The Engineer must be able to allocate requirements, interact with other members of the technical staff, perform components research and selection, perform engineering analyses, complete design documentation, and lead design reviews. The Engineer should have experience in a variety of materials and material processing techniques.
Qualifications:- Active TS/SCI w/Polygraph
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of electronics packaging experience
- Design tool experience such as: SolidWorks CAD, MasterCAM, MS-Office, Visio
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Positive attitude and desire to work in a team environment solving challenging problems
Desired
- Hands-on processing (e.g., milling, vacuum casting, 3-D printing) skills
- Reverse Engineering and design duplication
- Experience in the ruggedization of electronics to mil-spec environments
