We are currently recruiting dynamic and committed staff to work on a Train Depot in Edinburgh, carrying out an internal and external PHC (Periodic Heavy Clean) of trains. We provide full PPE, uniforms and put you through the LTSA training course required for working within a train depot environment and ongoing training.
Job requirements:
- External washing
- Internal cleaning to client specification
- Removal of waste
Conditions of employment:
You are initially hired on a 3-months probationary period, which is paid at £11.00 per hour. Once successfully passing your probationary period, the Nightshift Staff will receive a salary of £13.20 per hour and the Dayshift Staff will be paid £12.20 per hour. Please note: after your successful probationary period you are backdated the different between your probationary hourly rate and your new hourly rate.
This job is currently operating on a part-time basis- up to 24h a week, and full-time basis -40h a week. Both day shift and night shifts are available. Overtime will also be available.
