We are looking for a Marketing and Recruitment Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support for marketing, recruitment and communications in the School of GeoSciences.

This is a really exciting opportunity to get some real-life, paid experience within a marketing team environment.

Through supporting key activities, you will gain insight into marketing and recruitment across the prospective and new student journey, as well as experience different ways of working. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills and enhance your future employability.

The Opportunity:

More than ever, prospective students are seeking information and engagement from universities, both before they apply and when considering which offer to accept. Our School marketing and recruitment team are crafting compelling campaigns and events to attract and recruit students into our undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes.

You will support the team by helping with a range of administrative tasks such as responding to prospective student enquiries, helping with photo and video shoots, updating the website, and social media, undertaking database administration, as well as administrative support for virtual and on-campus events.

This is a great opportunity to join our dynamic team and develop your professional awareness by learning about a variety of communications and marketing processes.

  • Excellent communication skills, verbally and in writing, in person and online to a variety of audiences

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Teams, etc.)
