Position:
We are looking for multiple Mechanical Analysis/Structural Engineers, to conduct structural and thermal analysis, and support mechanical integrity testing of novel technology products and systems.
You will be working in a dynamic and fast paced team, with the opportunity to contribute across a range of projects. In your role you will be part of a multi-disciplined engineering team where you will be responsible for carrying out stress analysis by FE and hand calculation, assessing solutions, and presenting work to peers, senior engineers, managers and external partners.
This opportunity would suit an engineer wanting to develop their knowledge and skills in this discipline whilst working on innovative and stimulating technology projects.
Requirements:
To be successful you'll need:
- to have a degree in a STEM subject or equivalent engineering/manufacturing experience
- to be familiar with fundamental structural analysis principles as applied to lightweight structures and/or pressure vessels, either from recent study or industry experience
- to be able to follow and carry out basic engineering hand calculations
- have experience of a commercial structural Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software package
- have delivered presentations of technical work to reviewers

Salary: up to £37,000 - depending on experience
Working hours: Full time, Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week.
