The Crew Member position at Tahini’s is the primary restaurant position.
The Crew Member acts as a guide and ensures the guests receive a consistent product every single time. Providing our guests with perfectly prepared wraps and bowls in an efficient fashion and high customer satisfaction are always a priority. The Crew Member’s role is to work hand in hand with fellow team members in customer service, BOH and FOh responsibilities as well as act as a support to both the Supervisor and Manager in taking care of business volumes. A crew Member must also be well versed in Guest service and operation of the POS.

Crew Members lead the guest experience in ensuring the guest receives their order quickly, accurately, and consistently every time. Their passion for guest service is unparalleled. Role of a Crew Member:
- Be enthusiastic, energetic and demonstrate a genuine positive demeanor throughout the shift
- Be professional and hospitable while promoting the Tahini’s brand
- Ensure every guest receives the Tahini’s experience and leaves eager to return
- Consistently execute the menu in a quick and efficient manner to the highest quality standards
- Get to know regular guests’ preferences as well as identify opportunities to introduce guests to new offerings or options
- Possess a sincere attitude to be of service to others with a desire to succeed
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of Tahini’s including all products, menus and promotions; flavor profiles, descriptors, benefits and complimentary flavours
- Prepare a selection of food items including but not limited to: salads, bowls, wraps, specials
- Assist in preparation of recipes to ensure restaurant is always stocked
- Assist in operation of the POS as needed based on business volumes
- Assist in organizing, prep, and restock of the grab and go fridge items
- Follow all company recipes for food and beverage preparation
- Handling guest concerns with and without the support of the management team
- Providing the highest quality of service at all times in all guest interactions
- Clearing, cleaning and restocking of all prep and food and beverage stations and tables throughout the shift
- Completing necessary preparations to ensure the team is set up for success for current and upcoming shift
- Assist with completion of catering orders as needed
- Proper adherence to all cash handling procedures
- Correct use of POS system, adhering to all company standards and policies

REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to prioritize and stay organized in a high-paced environment
- Minimum of 1-year related QSR or restaurant experience
- Fluency in English both written and verbal
- Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
- Must be able to carry and lift items weighing 50lbs
- Must be able to stoop and bend
- Must be able to stand and move for extended periods of time to continuously perform essential job functions.
