Sales Manager UK – Introduction
If you are a sales professional with strong sales management experience, this is an exciting opportunity to influence the ongoing success of a world expert in making coatings. Operating in over 150 countries, AkzoNobel is home to well-known brands, such as the UK’s favourite Dulux paint, and has been awarded Top Employer status in the UK & Europe. We are now looking for an Sales Manager to join us and inspire and nurture a high performing sales team to maximise the sales for our protective coatings business.
- Support sales team to achieve the business strategy & meet the area’s segment & profitability related targets.
- Coordinates & executes sales plans in United Kingdom & Ireland.
- Manage significant business opportunities & vulnerabilities.
- Pin-point problems & assists field force where needed.
- Roll-out segment sales programmes.
- Identify significant business opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to execute their sales plans & deliver against desired service levels.
- Drive Continuous Improvement across the business to generate value to customers.
- Experienced sales team manager in a B2B environment.
- Used to developing & executing strategic sales plans.
- Effective at nurturing high performing teams.
- Commercially astute
- Excellent communication, influencing & interpersonal skills.
- Enjoys a collaborative working environment where supporting colleagues is key.
- Possess a full UK driving licence.
- Experience in the coatings industry preferred but not essential.
