Role Overview
We are looking for:
- You will work as a scientist to develop new composite materials for exciting automotive applications. Projects will focus on the development of novel and sustainable composite materials.
We count on you for:
- Development of new composite products for the automotive market, taking them from conception, through development and scaleup, to their application
- Work within, and lead, cross-functional project teams
- Initiate and foster supplier and customer relationships
- Collaboration with Solvay colleagues in different functions, sites and countries

You will bring:
- Applicants should be educated in a relevant technical subject (Materials Science, Materials Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Mechanical Engineering etc.) preferably to PhD level. Degree level candidates with relevant experience will also be considered
- Experience of composite materials and technologies
- Enthusiastic team player with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proactive and creative with good problem solving skills
- Practical and hands-on, with a commitment to safety
- A scientifically rigorous approach
- Experience in using statistical tools and methods
- People management and ERP experience are desirable
