Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic Materials and Logistics Industrial Placement to join our team specializing in Cummins Turbo Technologies for our Components Business Segment in Huddersfield. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Working with project teams, Plant Materials, Demand Management, Account Management and Purchasing on new products parts forecast & planning
- Support Planning & Logistics with Packaging data collections, system maintenance & improvement projects
- Assisting Materials with Freight Data and Premium Freight Activities
- Assisting Planning & Logistics with VPI (New Product Introduction) and Supply Chain Cost Reporting
- Manipulating and using data to establish the basis for actions
- Sourcing information, interpreting, developing and implementing solutions to achieve results by set deadlines
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Good Microsoft Skills including Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint
- Willing to work with people from different time zone and culture background
- Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills
- A desire to learn with a willingness and drive to lead
