Marketing Services Executive - UK
Job Overview
Under general direction of the Senior Director of Marketing Services, this position maintains and supports activities associated with the CustomConnect and 3rd party marketing program, primarily those related to reporting and data analytics. This role interacts with associates from numerous internal departments and vendor partners. The Marketing Services Specialist role completes tasks that support revenue generation of vendor partners through demand generation marketing activities.
Job Responsibilities
Support the broad management of the 3rd Party Marketing and CustomConnect marketing program while owning the development and management of all reporting platforms and data analytics associated with marketing campaigns.
· Own and manage and develop reporting solutions related to 3rd Party Marketing CustomConnect program campaigns
· Partner with internal sales, marketing, and I.T. associates to deliver successful manufacturer campaigns
· Partner with manufacturers to co-develop marketing plans that drive mutual success
· Facilitates campaign and targeting strategy
· Identify and streamline workflow, communication and performance of CustomConnect program
· Assists in the solicitation of ad revenue
· Assist with manufacturer campaign planning and timelines
· Vendor communications and relationship management
· Performs related duties as assigned
Minimum Experience and Education:
Requires broad experience in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year Bachelor's Degree Program or equivalent experience. Normally requires six (6) years directly related and progressively responsible experience.
Minimum skills, knowledge and ability requirements:
· High degree of technical knowledge of principles in marketing / demand generation strategies
· Excellent process design skills.
· Working knowledge of drug distribution business, specifically animal health
· Excellent organizational skills; attention to detail
· Exceptional project management skills
· Working knowledge of content management systems and google analytics
· Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
· Excellent interpersonal skills
· Strong presentation skills
· Working knowledge of computers necessary to operate effectively with company systems and programs
· Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills
· PDF editing skills and advantage
· Ability to travel, up to 15% of the time
What your background should look like
- Degree in English, Journalism, Communications or a related subject preferred
- A proven track record in of producing content in a commercial environment, preferably for globally dispersed audiences
- Typically requires minimum of three years’ progressively responsible experience in related field
- Best-in-class copywriting skills in a B2B context
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to articulate ideas to teams of marketers, writers, designers, and corporate leaders
- Team player; capable of forging meaningful relationships across multiple disciplines and experience levels
- Demonstrable experience of writing for a variety of formats – from white papers to social copy
- Content editing experience
- Understanding of Search Engine Optimization and Search Engine Marketing principles
- Digital marketing exposure
- Evidence of targeting and adapting content to different buyer personas, and for different products
- Knowledge of the sales/buying cycle, and producing content to target the requirements at all stages of the process
- Pharmaceutical or logistics industry experience preferred
