    Regional Marketing
The Business
It’s an amazing time to be joining Netflix as we continue to transform entertainment globally. Netflix is the world's leading internet entertainment service with over 238 million paid memberships in over 190 countries enjoying TV series, documentaries, and feature films and games across a wide variety of genres and languages. Members can watch as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, on any internet-connected screen. Members can play, pause and resume watching, as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time.

The Team
The EMEA Marketing Planning team is part of the regional Marketing function for Netflix in EMEA, driving connectivity, efficiency and scale between the 18 prioritised EMEA markets (each with their own local country Marketing teams), and the rest of the organization. We’re a small team of multidisciplinary Marketing strategists, with varying lingual, cultural and professional backgrounds - united by a love of content, data, workflow architecture and global connectivity. Location-wise, we’re geographically dispersed across EMEA, to best serve the needs of the local Marketing groups. We have a team on the ground in London (covering N. Europe), Madrid (covering S. Europe) and Amsterdam (covering DACH, META and CEE).

The Opportunity
The Marketing Planning Coordinator for UK, Nordics & Benelux is a key contributor in driving scale and operational excellence in the EMEA Marketing Planning team. As a marketing planner, you will work as the connective tissue on priority titles emanating from Northern Europe (UK, Nordics & Benelux), and campaigns for those titles globally. You’ll work to co-craft strategic marketing approaches, develop planning infrastructure, monitor and fuel title performance, and represent the UK, Nordic & Benelux title slate to marketing teams around the world. This role is based in London and will report to the Marketing Planning Lead, UK, Benelux & Nordics.

Core Responsibilities

  • Long Lead Marketing Planning: In partnership with the Marketing Planning Lead, collaborate with local UK, Nordics & Benelux Marketing teams, and x-functional teams around the world, in upstream campaign planning for titles emanating from local slates.
  • Data & Insights: Track and analyze title performance with a data-led approach, working in both a proactive and reactive capacity to fuel global buzz around UK, Nordics & Benelux titles. On top of individual titles analysis, monitor and track the UK, Nordics and Benelux slates overall, working closely with other members of the EMEA Marketing Planning team so you have oversight of both the import and export opportunity. Stay close to wider country metrics including social platform growth/performance in order to support country functions on an on-going basis.
  • Internal Marketing Connectivity: Be the connective tissue between UK, Nordics & Benelux title campaigns and Marketing efforts around the world - from Argentina to Africa and from Canada to Korea. Proactively seek to understand local market strategies, nuances and ambitions and work with international markets to develop industry-leading campaigns.
  • Project Management: As relevant, support the work of the EMEA Marketing team in an organizational capacity - crafting and updating agendas, decks, timelines and wider team resources.
  • Workflow Optimization: Seek innovation opportunities on the way that we work cross-functionally by identifying new workflows and needs for tools to bring optimisations and efficiencies.

Candidate Profile

  • At least 3 years of experience in a strategic, project management or executional marketing role at an advertising agency, innovative brand, or network/studio. TV or film marketing experience is preferred, but not a prerequisite.
  • Familiarity with and/or strong desire to work in an international capacity, comfortable in collaborating with culturally nuanced, geographically-dispersed teams.
  • Working understanding of paid marketing channels (OOH, TV, VOD, Cinema, Radio, Print, paid social, display, experiential) and social media platforms.
  • Exposure to working on high-profile Marketing campaigns.
  • Natural, collaborative team player, who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confident and articulate communicator, comfortable speaking up and sharing perspective in large meeting forums.
  • Stellar project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Aptitude for numbers and analysis, with a knack to craft a story through data.
  • Ability for both creative and operational thinking: comfortable both providing creative thought partnership to EMEA marketing teams and supporting workflow optimisation.
  • Creative problem-solver who can work and navigate comfortably in ambiguity.
  • Passion for TV and Film and all things fandom related!
