Forming a crucial part of Haymarket Business Media’s growing Energy & Environment team, no one day is the same in this varied marketing role. You are at the heart of driving marketing campaigns for a variety of Subscription products reporting into the Senior Marketing Manager E&E to help develop an annual Marketing Plan with Objectives, Strategy, Activities and KPIs, align across key stakeholders then ensure the team delivers it. To ensure offshore Marketing Executive resources are inducted, well briefed and deliver world-class Marketing.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
planning and implementing multi-channel marketing campaigns to deliver campaign objectives – generating subscription leads, work on retention and engagement activities
writing and proofing creative and effective marketing copy spanning channels such as email, social, display and native ads
planning and executing campaigns for new product launches and product upgrades
managing, executing and tracking email campaigns from start to finish
effectively using social-media channels from LinkedIn through to Twitter and Facebook to engage our audience
making best use of a multi-sector customer marketing database
conducting email and channel analysis to help inform and streamline the effectiveness of our campaigns and products
creating detailed post-campaign reports for the marketing team to review.
attending regular stakeholder meetings and calls to track progress of projects
working with internal teams including marketing operations, design, sales and editorial
helping to create and maintain user friendly landing pages and websites
working closely with fulfilment bureaus and other external suppliers
Person Specification:
You will have some marketing experience in a related field within B2B. Being interested in learning is more important than knowing everything on your first day
you have excellent communication skills, in person, online and over the phone
you’re happy dealing with people of every seniority
you can multitask effectively, prioritise and work well under pressure
you’re organised and have acute attention to detail
you’re a self-starter who has the ability to problem solve and think on your feet
you never miss a deadline and are driven by meeting your targets
you’re a team player and not afraid of asking for help when you need it
