We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Senior Academic Administrator to join the small and friendly
administrative team in this diverse academic department. The role involves leading the team
responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the student-focused parts of the Faculty’s work, which are
critical to the core teaching mission of the University.
This challenging and fast-paced role is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate excellence and develop the
knowledge and skills essential to a career in academic administration. Working collaboratively with senior
academic officers of the Faculty, you will help develop, improve and implement systems and procedures.
The successful candidate will be educated to ‘A’ level or equivalent and will be able to evidence strong
intellectual capacities, excellent organisational skills, initiative and problem-solving abilities. The ability to
communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders is essential, as is demonstrable experience of effective

The post holder will be based at the Faculty’s building in Pusey Lane, in Central Oxford, and is full-time. In
