We are ready to take this game to the next level and need a passionate Marketing Coordinator to provide support, coordination and administration of the financial records, systems, and processes of the department, while providing marketing and live events support.
YOUR ROLE IN THE GAME
Reporting to the Director, Marketing Communications & Brand Experience, you will be empowered to:
Monitor, analyze and report on monthly expenditures and variances to Brand and Marketing budget in collaboration with team members
Manage departmental financial processes including review and manage purchase orders, statements of work (SOW) and invoices; ensure approval requirements are properly administered, manage the process from requisitioning to receivership, identify and escalate budget discrepancies, maintain budget control reports, coordinate monthly accruals
Create, organize and maintain files to document program/project material for department related initiatives and activities
Support the implementation of the OLG Winners content strategy and plan, support content creation, live event coordination and campaign performance evaluation reporting
Support the Sr Marcom Manager, Winners Marcom Manager and Enterprise Customer Strategy Team in the identification and implementation of opportunities that enhance the customer experience, ensuring the prize claim experience is memorable and special
Under guidance of Director Marketing Communications & Brand Experience, carry out research of market trends and competitor landscape and prepare reports by consolidating and summarizing data
Support Experiential Marketing team in coordinating, executing and supporting programs as required
Recommend improvements to processes within area of accountability, to support end-to-end agility, speed, and efficiency of the department
Assist Marcom team members with day-to-day marketing tasks as required
WHAT YOU NEED TO PLAY
Work Experience: 2+ years of experience in a related function; experience with financial administration (purchase orders, statements of work, invoicing, budget tracking etc.); brand ambassador and/or experiential marketing experience is an asset
Education: Post-secondary diploma/degree in Marketing, Administration, or a related field
Critical Skills: Financial administration and analytical skills; excellent organizational and project management skills; detail oriented; team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment; proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); proficient with MS Dynamics 365 is an asset
