Job description

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Marketing Operations Lead to join our Marketing Department at Claro Enterprise Solutions. As a key member of our B2B marketing team, you will be responsible for managing various aspects of our marketing operations and marketing tech stack, with a big focus on Salesforce, Webflow, Pardot, Zapier, Drift and other marketing automation tools.

Your main role is to support the marketing team by managing and optimizing marketing processes, systems, and databases. This includes executing campaigns smoothly, improving workflows, and handling marketing automation platforms + CRM systems. You'll troubleshoot technical issues, train team members on using marketing technology, streamline processes, and promote collaboration with other departments for efficient data integration. You will oversee the content and sales enablement team members to ensure quality control and strategical alignment in addition to lead qualification and recording.

  • Operational Process Optimization:
    • Identify areas for improvement in marketing operational processes and develop strategies to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency. Collaborate with stakeholders to implement process improvements and drive operational excellence across marketing functions.
  • Support Content Generation and Sales Enablement:
    • Lead team members to ensure efficient content production processes, quality control, and timely delivery of marketing assets. Collaborate with the Sales Enablement team to align marketing efforts with sales strategies, ensuring the availability of necessary resources and materials to support sales activities.
  • Marketing to Sales Support:
    • Responsible for team member vetting and qualifying leads, ensuring their alignment with our target audience and sales criteria. This includes leveraging tools like Drift Live Agent, in collaboration with the sales team, to engage with leads in real-time and gather relevant information.
    • Ensure that all qualified leads are accurately recorded and tracked in Salesforce, maintaining data integrity, and enabling effective sales follow-up. Your attention to detail and commitment to lead management processes will contribute to the overall success of our marketing and sales efforts.
  • Support Product Marketing Initiatives:
    • Lead the technology partner promotional initiatives by collaborating with our partners marketing departments.

  • Drift Workflow and Content Management:
    • Review and optimize all Drift workflows, working with the Drift team to align playbooks and content recommendations with marketing strategies. Manage the relationship with Drift and coordinate content creation or support from the content writer based on recommendations and strategic direction. Ensure the marketing coordinator responds to Drift messages and routes them accordingly.


  • Salesforce and CRM Management:
  • Manage and maintain Salesforce CRM, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
  • Optimize Salesforce setup, workflows, and processes to support marketing and sales activities.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand the lead funnel and customer journey, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.


  • Marketing Automation/Integrations:
  • Oversee the integration of Salesforce with marketing automation platforms, such as Pardot.
  • Own the data synchronization between Pardot, Salesforce, Zapier, and other relevant systems and ensuring accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain efficient workflows to automate marketing processes, such as lead nurturing, email campaigns, event management, and webinars.
  • Ensure the website is set up appropriately with integrations, including all SEO tactics, to ensure seamless user experiences.


  • Database Maintenance:
  • Conform best practices for data hygiene and data quality control to ensure accurate and reliable reporting especially within Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and product marketing teams to develop customer personas and segmentations based on market research and insights.


  • Vendor Relationship Management:
    • Manage the relationship with our marketing vendors, defining enhancements, requirements, overseeing the contracts etc.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, a related field, or equivalent education/experience.
  • Possess a proven track record of effectively leading and managing teams.
  • Proven experience in managing CRM systems, with a strong focus on Salesforce.
  • Expertise in marketing automation platforms such as Pardot.
  • Proficiency in Zapier or similar integration tools.
  • Solid understanding of B2B marketing principles and best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive marketing decisions.
  • Experience with A/B testing and optimizing paid channels.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Requirements:

  • Proven ability to drive internal processes and execute marketing projects from inception to completion.
  • In-depth understanding of integrated marketing and communications strategies, with a focus on delivering measurable results.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively multitask while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong project management skills, particularly in highly matrixed organizations.
  • Familiarity and experience with Google platforms such as Analytics, AdWords, Optimize, and Tag Manager.
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new technologies and effectively tackle challenges.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, especially when dealing with operational issues.
  • Recent, hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms, website management, email marketing, and social media platforms.
  • Experience with LinkedIn Advertising is a plus.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in B2B marketing, with a demonstrated understanding of B2B marketing principles and best practices.

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated above. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
