You will lead and provide direction for an experienced team of Product Business Managers, Software Developers and Post-Sales Support Technicians in relation to products and services for the European region.
The key focus is ensuring the availability of a portfolio of primarily print and “beyond print” products, solutions and services which make best use of HQ, third party and Sharp Information Systems Europe capabilities and innovation. Understanding the overall portfolio performance and roadmap to effectively utilise current capabilities and ensure appropriate product development for the future roadmap.

The role is hybrid with 3 days a week in the office and 2 working from home

Key Responsibilities.

• Lead the Europe Portfolio roadmap development and management, providing HQ input throughout the product lifecycle; local sourcing of third-party product, solutions and capabilities when HQ alternatives are not available; and in-house application development
• Ensure effective Software development and support
• Lead development of Future Workplace offerings including Document, IT & Display Services.
• Pre & post sale resolution of software and firmware escalations, defect trends and release management.
• Ensure availability, business continuity, disaster recovery and capacity management for hosted services, to fulfil SLAs
• Provide support to technical bids & tenders
• Understand the product portfolio’s sales performance, gaps, and best practices for tactical or strategic implementation.
• Working with Sharp event owners to provide support including design, development, implementation and staffing
• Management of 3rd party relationships to maximise their value to Sharp through unique differentiation; preferential commercial terms; pre & post-sales support.
• Lead ongoing improvement programme for the department
• Grow organisational capability by leading and developing the team
• Ensure appropriate management controls and reporting standards are used consistently

Experience / Qualifications
Essential:
Technology related degree
Track Record in IT Product Management
Experience leading Software development projects
Managing £million budgets
People management and team motivation
Ability to Influence and challenge
Presentation skills
Organised & structured approach
Working in a European role

Desirable
Managed services, IT Outsourcing, Cloud services
PRINCE 2, Agile principles
Project management
Experience with Jira
