Responsibilities
- Responsible for day-to-day payment operations, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of transactions, including payments, settlements and reconciliation.
- Develop and maintain robust operational processes and procedures to optimise efficiency, reduce risk, and enhance customer experience.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as Customer Services, Compliance, Legal, and Risk, to ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to regulatory requirements, security standards, and anti-fraud measures.
- Drive first contact resolution through highly intuitive/self-service client portals for our customers and back-office portals for our Customer Account Specialist teams.
- Work with underlying banks on transactional queries from correspondent banks or beneficiary banks that are part of SWIFT/SEPA/TARGET 2/Faster Payments/BACS etc.
- Working closely with product and engineering teams to ensure testing is completed and operational effectiveness with our crypto partner integrations.
- Run day to day procedures specific to crypto payment processing, addressing security, compliance, and customer support aspects.
- Be aware of the risks associated with crypto payments, such as volatility, regulatory changes and fraud prevention.
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies related to traditional payments and cryptocurrencies, and proactively identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
Experience Needed
- Experience in payment operations within the fintech or financial services industry, with a strong understanding of traditional payment systems and processes.
- Strong operational knowledge on banking rails (SWIFT, SEPA, Faster Payments, ACH).Demonstrate strong customer centric focus with results in time sensitive payment situations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to operational excellence.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and build relationships across cross-functional teams and with customers.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Passion for fintech, cryptocurrencies, and emerging technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field is nice to have.
