Marketing Consultant (Remote)
Full-time role (40-hour) week, UK
Advito, BCD Travel's consulting firm, is looking for a Remote Marketing Consultant with strong project management and writing skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing and executing internal, B2B and/or B2C marketing campaigns. The candidate would be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic marketing plan that supports clients' travel program goals by increasing employee awareness and engagement. You work independently, as well as together with a team of Advito consultants to support our clients' communication needs, specifically related to their travel program. All aspects of a communications plan are managed by you - from strategic development to execution - through a variety of channels including social communities, videos, infographics, newsletters, emails, presentations, etc.
As a Marketing Consultant, you will
- Develop and implement strategic marketing communications plans to a variety of stakeholder audiences (i.e. senior leaders, managers, travelers, etc.) through multiple channels (intranet site, social media, presentations, emails, newsletters etc.)
- Act as a confident project manager for all aspects of the client engagement
- Act as a partner and consultant to support clients in their communications needs, including writing, editing, coordinating, planning and execution of marketing deliverables
- Review and interpret travel program data, using this to help define strategy and tactical marketing activities
- Work closely with and provide art direction to graphic designers
- Build and nurture internal social communities to form a dialog between travelers and travel program leaders
- Ensure that all messages are consistent with the client branding and tone of voice
- Monitor and measure campaigns, tweaking as necessary to ensure optimal results
About you
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Public Relations or another relevant field
- Highly effective writing and editing skills
- Confident communicator and presenter
- Experience with implementing cross-channel / multi-channel marketing strategies
- Proven understanding of data and insight
- Creative thinker
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote work environment
- Demonstrated ability as a consultant and ability to keep multiple client projects on plan and on budget
- Experience working in a global/international environment
