Line Management- Practice Manager
Job Summary:
To act as a focal point of communication between the GPs, management team and other members of the primary health care team.
To ensure administrative and clerical duties within the practice are carried out within the practice’s guidelines and policies.
Provide an efficient administration service and support the work of the management team, led by the Practice Manager, to enable the practice to deliver its mission statement.
To ensure the day-to-day activities of the practice are carried out accordingly.
Job responsibilities:
Support the HR Manager as required with the following HR responsibilities
- Efficient and timely administration of employee records and reporting
- Support recruitment process, preparation of contractual documents and ensuring all employment checks are undertaken. Preparing staff induction packs, including uniform, practice keys, name badges etc.
- Liaising with candidates and assisting in the interview process
- Conducting new starter inductions
- Completing new starter and leaver processes as required.
- Supporting annual appraisals and audit of HR files and employment documentation including the scheduling of routine reviews. Support employee development and training projects
- Assist with organisation communications.
- Ensure that employee confidentiality is adhered to
- Conduct Return to Work and Welfare Meetings with staff as requested.
- Working to promote the culture and values of the practice having regard to trust, openness, staff involvement and development, diversity at work, commitment to modernisation and delivering the highest standards of performance.
Other responsibilities
- To support the Managers with other general administration tasks as required.
- Dealing with contacts within the NHS and externally on the Practice Manager’s behalf

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Salary: £10.60-£12.00 per hour

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
