Have you been involved in growing a product SME and now want the chance to take Caffeine Bullet from an exciting sports nutrition brand to a household name?

We’re looking for a marketing manager who can oversee all aspects of our marketing from digital to events, someone who is still hands-on but can build and train a team under them as we grow. Sound like you? Hell yeah.

The Marketing Manager will lead and own the marketing department, reporting directly into me as the number 2 in the company. The primary responsibility of this role is setting the direction and strategy of our marketing and driving revenue growth by directing all online and traditional marketing initiatives. This is a multi-faceted and dynamic role which encompasses leadership, strategy, creativity, problem-solving, and last but not least, a data-first mindset.

You have demonstrated experience in product marketing growing a product SME with a deep understanding of product marketing and proven success in creating digital content and growing communities.

Objectives

  • Oversee paid content generation to achieve acquisition goals for native, social, search and other distribution channels
  • Oversee content creation that attracts, converts and retains merchants including social media, paid ads, email, lead generation funnels, SMS, webinars and website
  • Work cross-functionally with Customer Support Team to identify new retention and growth opportunities
  • Work closely with development teams to translate customer/market needs into new feature development
  • Oversee website branding and content position us as thought leaders in exercise science.
  • Develop new marketing strategies and tactics on a consistent basis that support revenue goals
  • Develop new lead generation funnels to achieve email growth and acquisition goals and continuously optimize based on performance

Responsibilities

  • Drive growth of new user acquisition through social media, paid ads, email, text, and other channels as necessary
  • Oversee ad creation and campaign performance that achieves core business goals and impacts OKRs
  • Manage annual marketing budgets and monthly ad expenditure
  • Work with the team to generate compelling content that converts
  • Assist on the implementation of projects which drive long-term growth
  • Create a strategic plan for content strategy to provide value for our customers
  • Oversea the analysis and optimisation of the email list - conduct continuous segmentation, health checks, and scrubbing of the list
  • Oversee strategy, execution and performance of all email flows
  • Assess content library and work with the team to repurpose content and syndicate through promotional channels
  • Technical troubleshooting as needed
  • Manage Facebook, Instagram, Google and TikTok advertising including campaign structure and creative oversight
  • Monitor performance of paid media and optimize as needed; adjust budget, creatives and audience targeting
  • Lead a small-but-mighty team of marketing professionals
  • Drive Ambassador recruitment and retention
  • Approve all marketing assets before release (emails, videos, ads, copy, etc)

Requirements

  • Motivated with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Humorous outlook which can be harnessed in our content and meetings
  • Demonstrated experience in prodcut marketing and growing a new product through different channels and partnerships
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, project management, and execution skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of product marketing principles
  • Knowledge and understanding of digital marketing funnels and pillars
  • 3-7+ years of B2C marketing experience preferred
  • Must be data-driven and adept at interpreting analytics; able to understand and make changes based on data
  • Proficient in Google Analytics, GTM, Google Optimize and Pixel Installation
