Job Title: Marketing Specialist
Supervisor: VP of Marketing
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
JOB SUMMARY: Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following but are not limited to the job specifications contained herein. Additional duties or job functions that can be performed safely may be required as deemed necessary by supervisory personnel.
- Support marketing executives in organizing various projects
- Generate and distribute comparable market reports to marketing executives and respective owners, portfolio managers, and community managers
- Assist in the organizing of promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns and attend them to facilitate their success
- Supports sales and marketing presentations by assembling quotations, proposals, videos, slide shows, demonstration and product capability booklets; compiling account and competitor analyses
- Maintains marketing library by checking and replenishing inventory.
- Create graphic design concepts for on-site team members to use to promote the property and/or events
- Assist properties with social media management and online reputation
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
- Tasks may include handling travel arrangements for the marketing department, scheduling conferences or meetings, organizing data and gathering information
- Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Business or relevant field is a strong advantage. Excellent knowledge of MS Office and online applications (CRM tools, Online Analytics, Google Adwords, etc.)
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or team members of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages.
TRAINING, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND DESIGNATIONS: Fair Housing must be completed within 1 day of hire. Preventing Sexual Harassment, Workplace Harassment and Drug Free Workplace courses must be completed within 7 days of hire.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
