Jakeman's is a family owned maple syrup manufacturer. A small but growing company, now available in more than 2000 retail locations in the U.S, Canada, Ireland, South Korea and Australia.
We are looking for a Social Media Coordinator to join our team and help us build and maintain a strong online presence. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging content, managing our social media accounts, responding to customer inquiries, and monitoring analytics to ensure our posts are reaching the right audience. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, an eye for detail, and a passion for social media.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Monitor and respond to customer inquiries on social media platforms.
- Analyze data to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Create content for social media platforms, including images, videos, and copywriting.
- Manage multiple social media accounts in a timely manner.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies.
- on occasion, editing labels or packaging.
- creating mockups or designs for new products
- organizing events in partnership with clients/customers.
Skills requirement:
- Adobe products, (illustrator, photoshop etc.)
- Graphic design experience (1-2 years)
- video editing (1-2 years)
- comfortable on camera
- organized, no spelling errors
- Post secondary education in communications and or graphic design is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
