Job Summary: We are seeking a Marketing Assistant to join our team. This is a remote position, but the successful applicant will need to be able to travel to Leicester once a month to attend team meetings and events. The Marketing Assistant will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive growth and increase brand awareness, with a particular focus on social media content creation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the development and execution of marketing strategies across multiple channels
- Operating a chat window on behalf of a wide range of businesses by referencing a knowledge base for each client
- Communicating with clients to gather information in order to answer a chat
- Building knowledge bases for clients
- Building a library of ‘canned responses’
- Assist with other marketing and business development initiatives as needed
Requirements:
- Excellent written English and grammar
- Some knowledge of SEO and SEM best practices
- Good understanding of digital marketing channels, tools, and strategies
- Accurate and fast typing skills
- A keen interest in the tech/digital sector
- Great organisation skills and attention to detail
- Excellent computer literacy skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- A willingness to bring new ideas and processes to the company, through independent research and passion for new advances or trends in the industry
- Must be able to travel to Leicester once a month
