We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and driven Marketing Assistant to join Magenta’s head office team to support the local and online marketing activities of our stores.
Working within a small, friendly, and dedicated team we will require you to be a team-player with great interpersonal skills and the ability to work alone and be managed remotely. Being part of a tight-knit team, we actively encourage you to bring ideas forward and encourage other team members to. As a small expanding business your ideas can have an immediate impact on the business and be fed back to Senior Management.
The role requires a highly organised, creative individual as you will be responsible for a comprehensive range of marketing and communications activities, such as marketing campaigns, social media and web content and sales strategies. A key requirement is the ability to contribute and work effectively across several projects for each of our stores, focusing on their unique USPs.
The perfect candidate will have a passion for all things marketing and technology. You will be well-versed in the concepts surrounding digital marketing and how the Internet can become a strong asset to securing growing revenue. You will be tech-savvy and intuitive with great ideas to reinforce our marketing campaigns and a keen eye for detail.

Key responsibilities:
· Working closely with the Marketing Manager to assist in the delivery marketing campaigns.
· Developing sales strategies and marketing campaigns.
· Maintain social media accounts.
· Producing marketing and promotional materials.
· Help maintain excellent relationships.
· Providing general administrative support to the team
· Creating new and updating existing content
· Maintain relationships with suppliers
· Monthly marketing updates with stores as well as designing a monthly newsletter
Ideal Person Skills and Qualifications:
· Excellent communication skills; written and verbal. The ideal candidate will be able to write copy, therefore grammar/punctuation skills are essential for the role.
· Previous experience with Adobe Suite, including Adobe Spark & Illustrator
· Experience working with Canva
· Knowledge of the major social media channels and management platforms.
· The ability to be organised and punctual, working to tight deadlines on a broad range of projects
· Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
· Previous marketing experience desirable.
· Educated to degree level; Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or a related field.
Working Hours
While our facilities are open 7 days per week this is a Monday to Friday position.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
