About the Role

We're on the search for a Email & Content Marketer with a passion for health, wellness and aesthetics who specializes in Social, Email & Loyalty Marketing to accelerate company growth and nurture our client community.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly motivated person with previous business-to-consumer (B2C) experience in the health, cosmetic or wellness industries and the ability to build marketing initiatives that will attract new clients, build communities and keep our clients engaged.

You will be a brand ambassador and are responsible for social, email, CRM & loyalty marketing as part of a wider digital marketing strategy. You will focus on email acquisition/retention, build & manage email lists & segments, analyzing and optimizing emails for conversion and sales. You will help develop and communicate ideas that inspire, inform & captivate new and existing clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with marketing team to deliver compelling email communications for various audiences in our marketing platform
  • Set up and maintain various automation workflows
  • Create and improve email campaigns, webforms & brand email templates
  • Contribute content for our social channels, blogs and website
  • Focus on client metrics to drive loyalty to the brand through our email marketing program
  • Experience with omni-channel including video and influencer marketing an asset
  • Develop strong email tactics to execute for lapsed customers, to encourage them back as clients
  • Champion the Referral Program, to meet referrals and referral purchase targets from our client base
  • Daily monitoring of campaign and delivery performance
  • Weekly reports to Director of Operations for results on open rates, click rates
  • Measure results and optimize campaigns and workflows based on analytics data
  • Using KPI’s and measurable metrics create segmentation strategies, A/B testing of subject lines, and content to drive higher open & click rates
  • Report, track and analyze campaign performance proving success in strategies and ROI.
  • Create and manage email lists & segments
  • Work closely with Customer Service Representatives to ensure all email complaints/concerns/unsubscribes are addressed in a timely manner
  • Stay current on email marketing best practices and utilize those findings to improve
  • Maintains technical knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing current trends and keeps up to date with latest email/ loyalty marketing & digital trends etc.

Education, Qualifications & Skills

  • Must have 1-2 years’ professional experience working as an Content/Email Marketing Specialist
  • Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in a Marketing, Writing or related field
  • Background or passion for health, aesthetics, and wellness is preferred
  • Experience in identifying target audiences and devising email campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate
  • Experience with analyzing data
  • Understanding of CRM systems
  • Highly collaborative and organized
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Strong communication, copy writing, editing and content management skills
  • Understanding of marketing fundamentals and its application to multi-channel marketing for retail environments
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
