We are now recruiting Air Conditioning & Refrigeration/Chiller Engineer covering the Midlands area.

Salary: £34,749.85 - £37,668.79 per annum (dependent upon skills and experience) plus Standby allowance of c£280 per week when on rota plus appropriate overtime rate when attending the call.
20 days annual holiday entitlement, increasing with service
Working 37.5 hours per week Full time - typical attendance will be 7am until 3pm Monday to Friday. There will be a requirement to join an out of hours call out rota typically 1 in 5 weeks
The Role
You will be expected to have excellent technical knowledge of air conditioning / refrigeration systems, lighting systems, mechanical power and control wiring. Working across a specified region, you must be willing to travel.
Key aspects of the role include:
- Analyse and understand complex technical issues in relation to air conditioning/refrigeration, plumbing, heating and lighting systems.
- Manage the delivery of planned and corrective maintenance to meet the performance measures detailed in the contract.
- Liaise with customers’ representatives on a day to day basis to ensure customer requirements are fully met.
- Check and ensure all appropriate and approved paperwork is completed.
- Make personal judgments on how to undertake work to achieve cost, quality and contractual objectives
- Act as a role model for safety, setting an example to colleagues and customers
- Manage the relationship with the customer, and liaise with customers to ensure that the customer is fully informed and project a positive professional image
- As a Senior Technician you will be required to take charge ship of the other Engineers in the region to ensure targets are met.
About you
Successful applicants must hold 18th Edition Electrical certification / F-Gas / City and Guilds 2079 in Air Con and Refigeration. Ideally you will be IPAF and MEWP trained and qualified, and be comfortable working at heights. Certified electrical qualification (or willing to undergo training). A full UK manual driving license, as this vacancy will involve travel within a specified area for which a van will be provided
