We are looking for an experienced Bridal Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping brides find the perfect dress for their special day. This position requires excellent customer service skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work with brides to help them make the best decisions for their wedding day. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable about the latest trends in bridal fashion and will be able to provide guidance and advice to brides on how to choose the perfect dress.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in selecting the perfect wedding dress.
- Provide customers with information about wedding dresses, accessories, and other related items.
- Help customers determine their budget and suggest options that fit within it.
- Advise customers on trends and styles in the bridal industry.
- Organise bridal shows and events to promote the store's services.
- Keep up-to-date on new products and trends in the bridal industry.
- Provide customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Skillfully handling transactions, operating the till and PDQ machine with precision, ensuring accuracy in processing payments.
- Assisting in the smooth reception, unpacking, and organization of new deliveries, ensuring the boutique remains well-stocked and visually appealing.
Here's what we can expect from you in this role:
- Sales Experience: You have previous experience in a sales role, demonstrating your ability to effectively engage customers, identify their needs, and drive sales.
- Bridal Industry Knowledge (Desirable): While not essential, having previous experience in the bridal industry is highly desirable. This familiarity will allow you to better understand customer preferences and trends, and provide tailored guidance and recommendations.
- Tailoring or Sewing Skills (Desirable): Possessing tailoring or sewing skills is an added advantage. These skills enable you to assist with fittings, alterations, and provide expert advice on garment construction and customization.
- Numeracy and Literacy: You possess a proficient level of numeracy and literacy, allowing you to handle financial transactions accurately and communicate effectively with both customers and colleagues.
- Warm and Welcoming Attitude: Your warm, welcoming, and uplifting attitude creates a positive and memorable experience for customers. Your friendly demeanour fosters a comfortable environment where brides feel valued and supported.
- Sales-Driven: You have a proven ability to drive sales, employing persuasive techniques, and showcasing the benefits and features of our bridal products. Your proactive approach helps exceed sales targets and contributes to the boutique's success.
- Leadership Skills: You have the potential to take on leadership responsibilities and guide a team when needed. Your ability to lead by example, provide guidance, and motivate others contributes to a cohesive and high-performing team.

Education:
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
- Retail sales: 2 years (preferred)
- customer service: 2 years (preferred)
