Job Title: Manufacturing Technician
The role
We are looking for a hands-on Manufacturing Technician to support with all activities involved with production, order preparation and load out and general site operations. You will be responsible for carrying out all duties as assigned by the Production and Facilities Manager or Supervisor. This role will require you to be task driven and flexible while carrying out your duties.
What you will be doing
· Direct traffic in yard.
· Complete Incoming/Outgoing inspections of Offshore Tanks/Containers – Excluding the final outgoing audits.
· Complete equipment checks.
· Collect interceptor samples for QC Analysis.
· Carry out pumping operations under supervision.
· Manufacture Blends under supervision.
· Take receipt of raw materials and returned products or equipment. Ensure samples of raw materials and returned products are taken for QC analysis.
· Collect samples of blended batches are passed on to the Laboratory with the completed Batch Sheet for QC analysis under supervision.
· Prepare orders under supervision for delivery by packaging and labelling finished products according to the requirements detailed on Customer Order.
· Ensure a high standard of housekeeping throughout the yard and warehouse at all times in order maintain a clean and safe workplace. Bring any problems to the attention of the Production and Facilities Manager or Senior Management.
· Carry out all duties efficiently and safely in conformance with company Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental guidelines with an emphasis on the wearing of correct PPE at all times.
· Be aware of and adhere to requirements of the company’s policies, objectives and systems in regard to Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental management.
· Subject to the Company’s workload, perform any other tasks within your capabilities for the Company as required by the Senior Management Team.
About you
· Educated to minimum of Secondary Education or equivalent.
- Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative.
- Preparedness to work outdoors in all weathers.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Forklift training desirable but training will be provided.
- Previous warehouse experience desirable but full training will be provided.
- Health and Safety aware.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £22,500.00-£28,000.00 per year
