Our IT team are recruiting for an Infrastructure Engineer.

Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for assigned Information and Communications Technology (ICT) systems.

Responsible for administering the local IT infrastructure and to some extent for the global company, server and client administration, as well as server applications and software.

The position requires to work with minimal supervision and to fulfill expectations in a fast changing, high demanding environment. The position also requires hands-on mentality and interest in developments of technology trends and requires problem solving.

Requirements

• Ensures all IT systems that support the business are to function efficiently
• Monitoring, optimization and full support of the local IT infrastructure, including VMWare, SAN and fibre network
• Administration and support of hardware and software used in the company
• Professional implementation of company-wide IT projects
• Troubleshooting IT infrastructure problems
• Provide technical expertise for 1st and 2nd line IT support, sharing technical knowledge
• Keep documentation according to IT quality procedures up to date
• Interact with and co-ordinate internal and external service providers
• Contribute actively to the organisation’s constant new demands
• Support Local Head of IT as required

Experience

• Completed position relevant education (computer science, technology; BSC or higher)
• Min 8 years working experience preferably
• Good knowledge of MS Windows Server, MS Exchange, MS SQL, Virtualization (VMware), SAN systems, Group Policies, Active Directory (On-Premise / Azure)
• Good Knowledge of network infrastructure (HP, Aruba, Routers, Switches)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 client
