Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Engineer will work in a modification assembly center supporting all engineering functions for the End of Line, production process improvements, changes, and implementations.

- Oversees the development of new processes, methods, and production controls.
- Prepares SOP’s for new and existing production processes.
- Maintains knowledge of new and developing manufacturing technologies, equipment, and applications; applies this knowledge to recommend and implement new technology and processes.
- Review and identify EOL test data for potential software issues affecting EOL performance.
- Drive software continuous improvement actions for EOL.
- Monitor engineering changes and execute the necessary changes to the equipment to support the design changes.
- Ensure that measurement system data is properly retained.
- Drive the resolution of warranty issues.
- Work with OEM PVT as needed to ensure the coordination of changes that affect the end-of-line process.
- Support future model teams to develop budgetary requirements.
- Review the processes for ongoing process improvement opportunities.
- Develop training plans for future repair personnel.
- Work closely with other engineering teams to ensure the EOL testing systems meet the needs of the production line and the quality standards of the company.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, debug, and update EOL testing systems.
- Analyze failures to determine root causes and drive improvements back into production.
- Evaluate quality control processes and make recommendations for improvements.
- Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area. Following 5’s guidelines.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.

Required Skills/Abilities:

- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office software.
- Understanding and implementation of Lean Manufacturing, a plus
- Proficient in AutoCAD.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, or Industrial)
3-5 years experience in automotive engineering.
Experience working with EOL testing systems is preferred.
Experience working with Hunter equipment used to align the vehicle preferred.
Experience with the Burke Porter tool or similar preferred.
Experience with Mahle EOL tool, preferred.
Experience with a squeak and rattle track to review noise concerns.

Occasional bending, climbing, and standing.
Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl in awkward positions.
Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds at times.
