Providing you with a fantastic opportunity, we are looking for friendly dispensers, who are enthusiastic, committed and self-motivated. You will work well in a team as well as independently. As a dispenser your accuracy and pace will be instrumental in providing the best service to our customers. Your attention to detail will be second to none, ensuring our customers receive the right medication at the right time. You must be Level 2 qualified in pharmacy assistant with at least 2 years Pharmacy experience.

Your Experience:
Pharmacy experience of a minimum of 2 years
Qualified to a minimum NVQ Level 2 as a Pharmacy Dispenser.
Computer literate.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a target driven environment.
Your Responsibilities:
To select, label and dispense pharmaceutical products in accordance with a prescription by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and complying with all legal requirements.
To ensure the safe and correct transfer of dispensed items to patients.
To accurately maintain records to ensure patient safety and in accordance with data protection requirements.
To identify medicine related problems or queries and bring these to the attention of the pharmacist.
To answer queries on the supply and availability of medicines, where it is within your competence.
To receive stock in accordance with SOPs.
To ensure the safe and appropriate storage of medicines.
To assist with stock control and the maintenance of reasonable stock levels within the pharmacy environment.
To liaise with other healthcare professionals to assist in the continuity of patient care
To assist in providing pharmaceutical care to patients by carrying out reasonable duties as determined by needs of the business.
Packing stock to ensure speedy delivery of medication.
Handling internal and external calls in an efficient and effective manner.
