Bombardier Aerospace is seeking an experienced Manager Human Resources – International for its new Service Centre located at the London Biggin Hill Airport, United Kingdom. The London Service Centre will join an award-winning Network of wholly-owned Bombardier Business Aircraft Service Centres; as well as a line maintenance station in Nice, Linz, Milan and Paris.
In your role, you will:
- Lead the team of HR Business Partners supporting the International Service Centers located in Singapore, London, China, Germany, Australia.
- Provide support to other employees across the Bombardier network to include the Mobile Repair Teams across Europe
- Work closely and align with the different HR centers of expertise to deliver the business support
- Act as the International HR support expert and reference for other HR teams
- Support cross-functional teams to align programs and efforts to support international expansions and field service support.
- Work with Talent Acquisition to develop recruitment strategies to build robust candidate pipelines for all service centers roles mainly focused on aircraft technicians
- Work on global and local employee engagement initiatives that involves continuously monitoring the pulse of the workforce and working in collaboration with management and employees on action plans
- Work with management on talent management and succession planning efforts
- Provide counsel to management and employees on all HR and employment related matters
- Proactively lead efforts related to affirmative action and promote diversity and inclusion in the workplace
- Support HR processes as it relates to Performance Management, Talent and Succession Management, Compensation Management, Talent Acquisition, Annual Employee Survey.
Qualifications
As our ideal candidate,
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, Organizational Development or a related discipline. A master's degree in a pertinent discipline would be an asset.
- You have at least eight (10) years of experience as a Human Resources professional, ideally in an international company and with a similar clientele.
- You have a minimum of 5 years of management experience.
- You have experience with managing international teams and supporting international sites.
- You experience in leading cross-functional teams
- You have experience managing projects ideally, complex HR projects involving change management
- You have demonstrated the ability of playing an advisor role and displayed your leadership, your capacity to navigate in grey areas and your ability to adapt to changing and unforeseen priorities
- You have demonstrated impact and influence and are able to position yourself, even in ambiguous situations, to support your business partners in making informed decisions.
- You have interpersonal skills and demonstrate professional maturity.
- You are able to question the status quo and demonstrate initiative, creativity and proactivity to ensure the evolution of the HR services.
- You have demonstrated teamwork abilities and are at ease with giving coaching.
- You have good knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills
